Stockton Has to Act Fast Before the Immigrants
Make Problems with the Homeless Intolerable

How would you like to see more people standing in lines to get medical help at the hospitals?
Or how about being afraid to go jogging at your favorite park? Things can get out of hand around here very quickly, so we need to act, and act now. Now I’ll tell you about the method I’m choosing.
I said I’m starting from scratch, and that’s what I’m going to do: get my neighbors’ help first, and that’s a neighborhood watch program to provide my neighbors and people locally to use services that can protect their families and their homes.
Then we will start an LLC to get a small business up and running, using all the branches of social media. Shortly after, we’ll set up a nonprofit, so we can have a charity platform to work with the big guys in the business, like the government.
I’ve read that the City of Stockton in San Joaquin County had a vote on the homeless sleeping outside. They came up with fines and punishment for anyone sleeping outside for longer than 60 minutes, with the threat of jail time.
This would be a great idea, in my opinion, if we had somewhere for the homeless to go, then they could put a curfew up at night to keep crime and bodies off the streets. Our plan would set up a homeless encampment of 30 to 60 tents on one of the empty parking lot spaces in town. It’s our first step to consolidation.
We would lease or rent to own, and if the spot is right, purchase the property outright. The idea is to assist the city by aiding the families that didn’t make it to their new converted homes.
There will be a displacement, because one size doesn’t fit everyone, and you know, there always seems to be some kind of cherry picking which decides which families get placed. And the ones who are undesirable for whatever reason will be left out to fend for themselves again.
Unfortunately, the sad fact is that there are plenty of homeless families and individuals who need help and won’t be able to get the help they need.

This is why, when our funds grow, the encampment we propose will evolve into a series of solid homeless tents in one place somewhere on the outskirts of town.
The numbers are in the thousands of how many homeless are in our city, and we need a few encampments to be made. The reality no one is talking about is that eventually these measures will produce a separate self-contained campus.
Unlike the proposed construction going on at the Saint Mary’s Facility, where an extension or added shelter is being built to help.

Stockton, like so many cities, is not equipped to handle the number of homeless people we have now, not to mention the large number of immigrants heading to California from the border.
I’m not scared to say this, we badly need any help we can get, and there’s so much to do, and time is literally running out.
So, anyone who is reading this blog, please take some time to figure out how you can help us, because, believe it or not, this will affect you, too. We’re not trying to replace or badmouth any Organization, city, or Service Provider; there is more than enough work for almost everybody to help create solutions to this growing problem. This is our country, and it is up to every one of us to make sure it will be viable for our children.
