1. Disorderly Conduct
– Description: Engaging in violent, tumultuous, or threatening behavior in public.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
2. Indecent Exposure
– Description: Exposing private parts in public.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
3. Drinking in Public
– Description: Consuming alcohol in public places where it is prohibited.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
4. Drug Use in Public
– Description: Using illegal drugs in public spaces.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 1 year in jail.
5. Going to the Bathroom in Public
– Description: Urinating or defecating in public spaces.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
6. Loitering
– Description: Remaining in a public place without a clear purpose.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
7. Smell Law
– Description: Emitting offensive odors in public.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
8. Noise Law
– Description: Creating excessive noise in public spaces.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
9. Shoplifting
– Description: Stealing items from a store.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
10. Stealing Carts
– Description: Taking shopping carts from stores.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
11. Sleeping in Public
– Description: Sleeping in public spaces without permission
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
12. Soliciting
– Description: Asking for money or goods in public spaces.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
13. Critical Infrastructure Law:
– Description: Unauthorized access or interference with critical infrastructure.
– Camping within 30 feet of critical infrastructure (e.g, schools, parks)
– Fines/Punishment: Varies depending on the severity of the offense, and can include significant
– fines and imprisonment, up to $1,000 and or up to 6 months
14. Overnight Parking for Homeless People Sleeping in Vehicles
– Description: Parking and sleeping in vehicles overnight in unauthorized areas.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
15. Trespassing
– Description: Entering or remaining on private property without permission.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
16. Littering
– Description: Disposing of waste in public spaces or on private property without permission.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
17. Public Intoxication
– Description: Being visibly intoxicated in public spaces.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
18. Camping in Unauthorized Areas
– Description: Setting up temporary shelters or sleeping in areas not designated for camping.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail.
19. Panhandling
– Description: Asking for money or goods in public spaces in an aggressive manner.
– Fines/Punishment: Up to a $500 fine and/or community service.
20. Public Nuisance
– Description: Engaging in activities that interfere with the use or enjoyment of public spaces.
